Our little papoose experienced her first snow...and enjoyed it from the warmth of the house. If she was a few weeks older I would have dressed her up like an Eskimo and taken her outside :) Instead I built a little snow family to recognize our first snow together. . .
The boys loved the feeling of the first snow of 2013 under their paws...they snuck out of the house to follow me down the road.
Our road transformed into a winter wonderland...we had several more inches after this photo was taken.
Beautiful! We're still enjoying a white world outside our windows...I think our road is the only one as we live in a valley within the Tenn. Valley...so we get extra shade beyond the normal amount cast. According to winter alerts - our little collection may just become a little more later today and into tomorrow...
In Chloe News: she continues to smile, learn...and GROW! She's almost out of newborn diapers...how is this possible? The last few days she's been learning how to giggle...{melt my heart!} Incredible how a little human can learn so fast. She also has this obsession to sleep in the most uncomfortable position she can think of...kinda like a bent hair pin. But heck, we go with it :) I'll try capture a picture...
Her most favorite time of the day? BATH TIME!
She loves it! You'll put her in fussing and performing - as soon as she feels that warm water she INSTANTLY becomes calm and quiet. She'll lay there for a good 15 minutes kicking and taking in the enjoyment of it all. Pity the dressing part comes shortly thereafter...ohhh boy...her least favorite. She'll like the summer time...not so many layers required and less sleeves we'll have to wrestle into.
Now that we have the tiny newborn phase outgrown {and we ALL lived to tell the tale!!}...we'll be introducing "big" baby gear in the coming weeks. Ohh the fun we'll have as she starts playing and interacting more :) I'm so looking forward to the up and coming days. First 7 weeks are spent learning and discovering this new bubba - as she learns and discovers her new world {oh and you have to survive colic too...side note}. 8 weeks and beyond...HERE WE COME!!
