Almost 10 days into this new year and I've yet to actually handwrite 2016 on a piece of paper. Where are the days where you give the new year a quick written test drive? I think I'm going to point at the digital world and remain firm that the reasoning is there. 

Going into this new year I started with no resolutions - as always. This for the same reason I don't "wait until Monday to start the diet". . .if I'm going to do it, I'll just jump right in. So for the last few weeks I've had this wonderful plan to organize our photographs. 40,000 photographs later I realized I have ALOT of photographs hiding away. A couple years ago we upgraded our camera from a Canon Powershot 4500 IS, to a Canon 6D. I like to think of our first few years as the warm up to the real thing :) The new camera allowed us to take our photography to the next level. The hobby turned into a business, which is currently waiting patiently for my return - so - two small kiddies later and we're back to enjoying the camera as a hobby. Through it all, we have captured some INCREDIBLE images. Throughout this year I'm going to showcase a few of our favorites from our journeys together. Think of it as the next series, following the last one I did - "one good thing. everyday".
