S/he is an ORANGE! Perfect treat for these hot summer days....
To help you celebrate little baby Addington's size, I've found the perfect recipe to keep us all cool in this summer heat wave:-
Mock Mimosa
Ingredients:
Mock Mimosa
2 cups of pineapple juice
I pkt of crystal light sunrise classic orange
2 bottles of club soda
I navel orange cut into slices
ADD juice to drink mix in 2-1/2-qt. plastic or glass pitcher; stir until mix is completely dissolved.
STIR in club soda.
SERVE over ice in tall glasses. Add orange slice to each glass.

Miss Anything? about 10 minutes ago I would have said "nope" but as with all things pregnancy I could literally come up with a whole list of things I miss in this minute. Top of that list is still wine...sushi makes my mouth water, and why is it that we only have lunch meat in the house when it comes to lunch time? If not that, then I'm dying for some good chicken and cranberry salad - again, no can do. I guess it's like a diet - you crave what you can't have.
Movement: Yup!! little wiggles when I'm laying still. It always happens as we're settling into bed at night, all curled up and snuggly - AND suddenly the baby wants to show me his/her acrobatic skills. As the baby grows bigger I think bedtime will become quite eventful in our little house :)
In other news:
Total weight gain: 2lbs - looks like the baby is growing nicely!
Maternity clothes? Sure am - when I have to look presentable. At home I'm still rocking the unbuttoned jeans look...
Stretch marks? none yet!
Sleep: still rather inconsistence although I had a really good night last night. But I think I'm going to have to remove some stuffing from the body pillow... I do NOT like having a 3rd "person" in the bed :)
Best moment this week: Two moments actually: feeling our little baby wiggling {love love}. 2nd is we decided to start the diaper collection. Needless to say this was a very interesting outing for two "yuppies"...who knew there are two huge, long, massively high rows of ONLY diapers - each diaper brand varying so slightly that you can't tell a difference, except that each diaper brand has their own baby model. So - we stood in the middle of the diaper isle and read the diaper consumer report and found that the winner is: PAMPERS! I still don't know why Pampers are better than Huggies, other than the fact that Pampers has a wetness indicator on the front of the diaper. Yes - who would have thought that you need a wetness indicator on a diaper telling you the % of wetness within...so, little baby Addington will now be able to communicate his/her wetness level at any given moment. Gosh, cloth diapers are so last year! :)

Food cravings: Fruit AND now sweet tea. Oh my gosh, I could drink myself silly on sweet tea!
Anything making you queasy or sick: grilled meat and boiled eggs.
Gender: 4 weeks til we find out!
Symptoms: still just the general muscle expansion and stretching that occurs at this stage. I've also been exhausted again...phew, bedtime can't come soon enough. Oh and new this week - dinner is becoming rather difficult to consume. Yeah, thanks nausea.

Belly Button in or out? In, although it's getting mighty shallow...
