Week 14
As our little baby and I will be making a business trip up to Canada this week, I thought I'd give you an early post.
The 9 month expansion project is right on track as you can see from the most recent shots from this weekend. The baby is now the size of a lemon and has doubled in weight since last week. In addition, the baby is growing lanugo - which is a peach like fuzz all over his/her body for warmth. We have wiggling toes and fingers, and the baby may even be sucking his/her thumb in preparation for feedings once born.

Total weight gain: still zero pounds
Maternity clothes? Yes, all my business clothes can now accommodate the belly, although when I'm at home I merely make the necessary adjustments or wear comfy dresses.
Stretch marks? none yet!
Sleep: I would define this as inconsistent. Jon is looking forward to having the bed to himself this week...perhaps he'll get a full nights rest without me tossing and turning beside him :)

Best moment this week: Spending the weekend with my aunt and Grandpa from Australia!
Miss Anything? I'm adjusting to the restrictions - this week. Check back next week though....
Movement: nothing new. The baby does do alot of adjusting within though - if I lie on my side on the bed the baby moves to the opposite side making my belly lopsided once I turn back over :)

Food cravings: Fruit - especially peaches!
Anything making you queasy or sick: grilled meat and boiled eggs.
Gender: 5 weeks til we find out!
Symptoms: just the general muscle expansion and stretching that occurs at this stage. I've also been exhausted again...phew, bedtime can't come soon enough.

Belly Button in or out? In, although it's getting mighty shallow...
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody : mostly happy!! ...hormones are still causing moments though :)
Looking forward to: I'm looking forward to spending some time in Canada! ...even if the trip is {almost} solo - site seeing is always fun.
