What a difference in activity level in comparison to week 21 - the Clo-Worm has been a busy little girl this week. 2 am tends to be a good time for a her to get some cardio in. I am also being initiated into the 3rd trimester in other ways - tree trunk legs being the main complaint this week. I think the swollen legs may be in part due to not enough H20...so I'm working towards a larger intake. But - it's all part of the journey towards creating a little human :)
She has truly been a wiggle worm today - and I can feel every 1lb+ of her existence. This morning she floated to the front of my tummy to get a little rub on the rump. Previously she would move away if she felt you rubbing her, but now it seems she quite enjoys touch. She is also becoming more responsive to Jon and likes to show off by giving him several little kicks each time he talks to her.
So, how big is Chloe? The size of a papaya! I can certainly believe that.

Funny story - Chloe has the ability to hear the activities occurring around her and I was wondering just how much she could actually hear until it was proven to me a couple of days ago. I was sitting on the couch next to Jackson, our yorkie, and Chloe was taking her little lunch siesta so all was quiet and still in the world when the next thing Jackson sprung up at a 100 miles an hour and barked really loudly right beside me. Chloe had an immediate reaction and jumped in absolute fright! I could feel her whole body jolt in the moment and it took a good 15 seconds for her to settle back down. Poor little thing, but how incredible at the same time :)
