This is 20 weeks. 1/2 way to meeting our little fellow.
We had a fantastically warm week - classified as perfect Fall weather. We'd wake to morning fog gently resting on our small valley. The sun peaking through the fog particles, illuminating the bright red and orange leaves glowing solidly in the foggy morning light. Late this afternoon the clouds rolled in, temperatures dropped and soon the rain arrived. On our way home from dinner this evening the wind picked up, tossing thousands of leaves into the storm. It was a beautiful! This really is a lovely time of the year.
I'm pretty sure I'm measuring the same size at 5 months with Declan as I was at 8 months with Chloe. This decided after seeing the pictures above. I've been wearing all my big baggy clothes this week so hardly noticed how much I'd expanded! But I've been pre-occupied. We've been passing bronchitis around the family. . .and I was the lucky winner this week. So.much.coughing! Thought for sure I was gonna come out of the coughing spells with a pulled stomach muscle - or dislodged lung, but I think I made it.
Events have been standard. Movement minimal. Big plans to get bebe Declan's room ready in the coming weeks. In the meantime I've got a dose of early nesting - spring cleaning everything I can get my hands on! Not good for the pelvis as it leaves me near crippled for a good 12 hours! Yoga though. . .seems to set me straight again.
This coming week I'll be traveling on business. Little Declan and I will be having some quality time in San Diego while Daddy and Chloe enjoy some of their own good bonding time! Will this be my last airplane ride before this little bubs arrives? Maybe baby.
Until next week!
