Rain. So much rain! We've spent the last week plus running through raindrops and puddles. We finally have some sunshine to dry up all the W.E.T that the rain left. Cool weather is definitely here to stay and the trees agree coz they are beginning to portray Autumn at its best. This weekend was spent putting away summer clothes and re-stockng the closets with our Fall and Winter items. It was good timing because we woke to 38 degree temps this morning!

The little bebe and I had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday. I have a fantastic doctor so he let me record the sound of the heartbeat - have I told you how insanely beautiful his/her heartbeat sounds? AND. . .Friday is the BIG day! We have a 10am appointment for a complete ultrasound which includes answering the question..boy or girl?

This little one really grew this week. We now have a little baby the size of a sweet potato! She/he is yawning, hiccuping AND swallowing. Lots of twisting and rolling too...which perfectly describes the movement I feel. There are times when I'm pretty sure he/she is slowly twisting my organs alongside the movement. It's amazing that our internal organs recover from pregnancy. Really is.

In the meantime. . .Friday is around the corner! I get huge butterflies every time I realize we are THAT much closer to finding out if our lives will include a little boy or a little girl. Check back on Friday!
