You just never know what you're walking into as you venture into a new week of pregnancy. This week I earned 10 sausage toes and a pinched nerve. Score for week 33!

I've been in mild panic mode all week with the realization that our little trio is about to become a quartet. Also, round two is different to round one. Round one you're blissfully unaware. Round two you know darn well what's coming! At this very moment I also bounce b/t sheer terror over the recovery and the long sleepless nights filled with exhaustion that extends to your very core. But chocolate - chocolate makes everything better. Do I sound like I'm being driven by hormones ? Possibly :)

Our Doctor's appointment went really well this past week. Declan's heart is beating healthy and strong. We're measuring on track and my aches are typical (except the pinched nerve is rather over the top). This lil guy is a PINEAPPLE! With strong legs . . .very strong legs. The last few days he's had those legs in line with my left ovary and about once an hour he'll give me a good kick that'll take the wind out of me. The last few days Chloe has been asking to feel him move, and without a doubt he'll give her a few really good kicks. She is hilarious and reacts the same way each time - a HUGE gasp and her eyes go the size of saucers!

Started packing the hospital bag. Surreal. You'd think 8+ months of being pregnant would be enough time to adjust to BLUE. . .but when I see a little baby boy outfit I'm AMAZED!

We still have a few pictures to hang in Declan's room, but here are a few pictures of what it looks like.



This is my last week without a doctor's appointment - they come weekly starting next Wednesday. This also means I get at least 4 more dry runs to the hospital (the doctors office and hospital are next door to each other). . .it's quite a trek out there from where we live now - a nice 45 minute drive. That's quite a drive when you're in labor. . .I'd imagine. Guess we'll find out, right?
