The sun rose to battle the thick fog. We rose to celebrate Friday.

While the sun and fog began their battle over the morning hours, we remembered that 14 years ago today 2977 people died on 9/11. A battle of survival. A battle lost for so many.

It's days like these that we reminisce on life.
